The emergence of new regions, economically powerful
and politically influential, is increasingly challenging
traditional models of equilibrium and balance of power.
These regions have experienced rapid growth in recent
years and have contributed to shape a dramatically new
world.
Yet, these areas largely remain unknown despite the
interest and enthusiasm they generate. When it comes
to either Africa, Asia, the Middle East or Latin America,
elites and public opinions often tend to misunderstand
the dynamics at play as well as underestimate their
potential.
CAPnouveaumonde, Center for
Analysis and Proposal for the New World, was born out
of this realization. Our goal is to raise awareness
on the many countries and areas that have started to
play - or are about to play - a major role in the international
arena.
